If they could improve the stage selection (because having a randomness + 5 acts per stages is just boring to see) and a Knuckles-only option with the ability to switch characters like in Mania's encore mode. (Tho I honestly doubt that'll even happen, but who knows.) Chaotix isn't "bad" like most Sonic games (it doesn't have glitches), it's just empty with only one gimmick that is just used for verticality without any gameplay depth (even Mario spin-offs managed to have an interesting gimmick that doesn't overstay its welcome). 引用自 mitchan：Lastly, I do agree that Chaotix should get a remake/remaster that fixes all its issues. If any of you SOMEHOW do agree this post and the things I said, I honestly encourage you to use emulation if a certain game you want isn't readily available to purchase and play at all (or isn't available to purchase and play in a way that is convenient for you lol.)
some of them CAN be considered illegal if they're using stolen source code and such. Tho I am aware, just like the last comment mentioned. I've been using emulators WAY before I even made this post, so that was hypocritical of me. I don't know what I was on about when I made this post, calling them "ILLEGAL", to be honest with you, lmao. I've been using emulators since forever, even if I own the original hardware, because of how convenient they are.
I obviously do support emulation and the preservation of classic video games. I was too young to know what the hell I was talking about when I made this post, huh. LOL, this suddenly started getting traction again, for some reason. Here is a video showcasing the awesomeness of the Retrode. With these, you can also dump your carts and it is as simple as opening your explorer window and going to the "drive" that mounts to your PC and drag/drop and it is dumped, your own legal rom. There is/are a device(s) called the "Retrode" (hard asf to find) that you connect to your PC via USB and you can play your carts (as well as original controllers) with your EMU of choice.
The rule of thumb that I go by is if I want to play my game in an emulator, I will dump it myself. However what IS illegal, is having ROMs to games you don't own and it is a bit of a legal grey area as far as downloading the ROM when you already own it is concerned. SO long as it was written from scratch and not made by using stolen code, there is nothing illegal about it. So I wanted to comment and say: There is no such thing as an "illegal emulator" (unless the code has been stolen), an emulator is literally a program that is mimicking the console that it emulates, it is mimicking the the cpu, gpu and audio. I know I am late to the discussion but wth, I am always late.
